Each year, the City of Liberty conducts monthly testing of our outdoor warning sirens March - October.

The first test is scheduled in conjunction with the statewide severe weather drill. For more info about Missouri Severe Weather Awareness Week, plase visit www.crh.noaa.gov/lsx/?n=severeweek.

April through October, the tests will take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m.

The Fire Department would also like to remind all citizens that the City’s outdoor warning sirens are designed to assist in alerting people within our community that are outdoors during a severe weather event. In order to provide indoor alerting it is highly suggested that you purchase a NOAA Radio, which can be found at several local retail businesses.
