To celebrate Arbor Day, several newly planted trees in the Fairview/New Hope cemeteries will be dedicated by TreeLiberty in memory of Coni Hadden, former Liberty City Councilwoman and tree enthusiast. Wendy Sangster, urban forester with the Missouri Department of Conservation, will make a Tree City USA presentation. Mayor Greg Canuteson will issue an official Arbor Day proclamation. The ceremony will begin at 11 am near the flagpole at Fairview Cemetery.
