How old do I need to be to use the Silver Center?
Any one age 50 or older is invited to the Silver Center.

How much does it cost to eat lunch at the Silver Center?
Participants aged 60 or older are asked to make a donation of $2.00 per person. Those aged 60 and under will be charged $6.00.

Do I need to be a Liberty resident to participate at the Silver Center?
No, you do not. Anyone aged 60 or older regardless of where they live is invited to the Silver Center.

Do I need to be a member of the Liberty Community Center to participate at the Silver Center?
You do not need to be a member of the Liberty Community Center to participate at the Silver Center. However, to utilize the equipment and facility amenities, you will need to be a member of theLiberty Community Center.

I think of a senior center as full of old people, but I am still very active. Why should I come?
There is something for everyone at the Silver Center. The center is a place to meet new and old friends, a work out place, a favorite place to eat lunch, a social club, a great movie spot, a beloved hang out, and a great place to learn. Come and see all the great things we have to offer

I don't know if I will fit in, will some one introduce me to people?
Everyone is welcome at the Silver Center. With so many programs and activities there is bound to be something you can enjoy. Our friendly staff and volunteers will introduce you to some of the nicest people in town.

The Liberty Silver Center offers so much. Are your programs affordable for someone on a fixed income?
Yes! The City of Liberty and the Area Agency on Aging fund a majority of the programs offered. Your voluntary donations help to enhance our services including classes, lectures, exercise activities and much more. Although there are modest fee associated with some activities, there are plenty of free activities and programs available.

How can I make a financial donation to contribute to the good work at the Liberty Silver Center?
The Liberty Parks & Recreation Charitable Fund accepts donations and is a 501 (c) (3).
