Event Format: Double Elimination Format will be used.
Entry Deadline: Wednesday, August 25, 2010
Event Awards: per ASA code
Championship Berths: 2010 Men’s Class D Northern National Champion will be determined.
Equipment Required: Host will provide softballs for all games.

Sanctioning Body: ASA (Amateur Softball Association of America)
Game times: Tournament brackets with game times will be available on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 5:00PM.

To enter the 2010 ASA Men’s Class D Northern National Championship complete the intent to participate as soon as possible and fax the form to (816) 439-4388. The Intent to Participate does not guarantee your spot in the event but does allow us to be in contact with you as the event reaches the deadline. The only way you are guaranteed to be in the National Championship is to complete the official entry form and send it along with your entry fee by the deadline of August 25, 2010. Your local ASA Commissioner must sign off on your entry form and an official roster must accompany your entry. Mail entry to: Fountain Bluff Sports Complex – 2200 E. Old M-210 Highway – Liberty, MO 64068. Your entry fee should be made payable to the City of Liberty, MO. Follow the links listed below to enter the event.

The basic ASA National Championship format shall consist of each team being placed in a double elimination bracket. Once a team has lost two games in the event they will be eliminated from the event.

A tournament Pre-draw will be held to seed all teams on the bracket. This will be held on Tuesday, August 31, at 12:00 PM.

ASA Rule Books are only distributed at the local level by the ASA Commissioner or their staff. Please contact your local State/Metro Commissioner or Umpire-In-Chief.
The official ASA Rule book will be strictly enforced for all games played in this event.

All managers must attend and no more than two (2) representatives per team please. Lunch will be served for the manager’s.
