Synopsis
Anansi Returns is a lively telling of three classic folk tales from Africa and the Caribbean, adapted by Paul Mesner and Mike Horner. Each humorous story features a trickster spider who sometimes gets tricked himself. In "Anansi Goes Fishing," "How Spider Got His Thin Waist" and "How Knowledge Came to the World," Anansi offers universal lessons of wit and cleverness.
Puppet construction is by Paul Mesner, Mike Horner and Gabby Baculi. Live musical accompaniment by drummer Patrick Conway.
