LPAT Event Opportunities
Artists' Meal Planner
Description: Plan, purchase, and serve artists' meals based on their written requirements.
Time Commitment: 2 - 5 hrs pre-event; 3 - 6 hrs at event
Minimum Age to Volunteer: 16
Skills Required: Good organizational abilities; an eye for appealing presentation; food service experience helpful.
Background Check Required
Banquet Planner
Description: Coordinate catering, menu selection, decor, and personnel for event related banquets.
Time Commitment: 10 - 20 hrs pre-event; 4 - 8 hrs at event
Minimum Age to Volunteer: 16
Skills Required: Strong organizational skills; basic knowledge of catering services; and a touch for artistic room & table design
Background Check Required
Event Assistant
Description: Assist various LPAT staff on an as-needed basis
Time Commitment: 2 - 4 hours per event, with a short orientation given just prior to the event
Minimum Age to Volunteer: 16
Skills Required: Willingness to help in any area in need

Patron Assistant
Description: Greet patrons; assist those with special needs; keep food and drink from entering the LPAT; provide basic directions and information
Time Commitment: 2 - 4 hours per event, with a short orientation given just prior to the event
Minimum Age to Volunteer: 16
Skills Required: Friendly, outgoing personality. Ability to stand for long period of time. Ability to walk up and down theatre aisle. Basic knowledge of LPAT and LCC.
Background Check Required
Ticket Taker
Description: Greet patrons; take and check tickets; keep food and drink from entering LPAT; provide basic directions and information
Time Commitment: 2 - 4 hours per event, with a short orientation given just prior to the event
Minimum Age to Volunteer: 16
Skills Required: Friendly, outgoing personality. Ability to stand for long period of time. Basic knowledge of LPAT and LCC
