Youth Flag Football Leagues
The
Youth Flag Football Spring League is a recreation league that is designed to give participants an introduction to football in a relaxed and learning environment. Standings are not kept and all participants receive an award at the end of the season. All kids are given the opportunity to participate.
New coaches are allowed to bring in 4 players to their team. The remaining roster will be filled by the league director based on a blind draw and the school the children attend. Coaches from the previous season can bring back children from that roster only. They may not add any additional players.
League Information
- League Format: Teams will play an 8 game schedule on Saturdays in March. Games will be double headers so the season will last 4-5 weeks. Games start March 9.
- Equipment Provided: We provide flags, footballs, mouthguards and reversible jersey.
- Volunteer Coaches: The recreation programs are dependent upon volunteer coaches. If you would like to help the program by becoming a coach, please check out the coach application on the link to the right.
Registration Information
- Age Divisions: Participants register for the grade they are in for the 2012-2013 school year. All divisions are coed.
- Kindergarten
- 1st and 2nd Grade
- 3rd and 4th Grade
- 5th and 6th Grade
- Individual Registrations only accepted.
- Entry Fees:
- Register By January 25 - Member $62; Nonmember $67
- Register By February 1 - Member $72; Nonmember $77
- Entry Deadline:
- Early Registration - January 25, 2013
- Final Registration - February 1, 2013
