Vehicle Security Checklist

The Liberty Police Department has developed a simple checklist citizens can use to reduce the opportunity for thefts from vehicles.  When leaving your vehicle unattended for shopping, recreation, repairs, or at home, the police department encourages you to do the following:

 

1. Remove all valuables

2. Remove the stereo faceplate

3. Remove any loose money

4. Remove any house keys

5. Remove the garage door opener

6. Lock your vehicle
